I had a girlfriend that thought if you set the house thermostat to 85 degrees it would heat the room up faster because the air coming out was 85 degrees. Same thing in reverse for cooling. She was also a smoker that sat out on the balcony with the door open so that she could hear if someone knocked on the door, or the phone ring (before cell phones).

Yep! You need to explain that thermostats have no hurry function at any temperature settings.

I'm unable to explain to my wife that setting the temp to max doesn't make it warm up faster...only makes me having to shut it down before we realize we're baking to death...then of course she sets the AC to max cool...

Instead of complaining about your wives poor knowledge about heating show off your own knowledges and explain me please about Ranger heating and ventilation.
If rear vents are stuffed is it possible humidity can collect there? Theoretically or in practically?
And if I set certain temp on A/C why I get much hotter air?
And where is temp sensor in salon? At height of knees I assume?
After I get answers you may continue venting about your wives

I've always said I'll take street smart over book smart any day! Annies daughter is SUPER book smart and can recite anything in history to a T! But some of the everyday simple things she does makes me say....What? ?‍

True, my SIL who has a PHD & a Masters thought it was a good idea to connect the ice maker water line to the cold water hose of the washing machine then wondered why the ice cubes tasted funny!
