I'm from Salado. For those that don't know where it is, it's a small village (not even a town), about 1/2 way between Austin and Waco. I just picked up my Ranger from the dealer in Temple on Saturday.

I'm familiar with Salado. I have a friend that just bought a house near Stillhouse Hollow Lake.

I haven't seen any around town yet either. Its a good feeling because a lot of people double take at my Ranger not knowing what it is. lol

Moved to Kerrville (current location) a year ago from Houston and our choice came down to Salado or Kerrville. TOUGH choice, we really like Salado a lot!

I'm in San Antonio as well, but isn't it considered South Texas ? Lol. I've lived in Kerrville and Arlington too, but originally hail from Indiana. I have not seen any Rangers on the road either but have noticed the dealers selling them.

Yes it would technically be South Texas I suppose, but I just say central since we are only an hour or so drive from more of a central Texas location. Plus I spend a lot of my time in Kerrville and Fredericksburg. lol Texas is just so big I love it!

I just visited San Antonio for the first time this past weekend. Damn, that place is nice compared to RGV!

On a different note, the Ranger was definitely getting noticed. The concierge at the Westin was checking it out pretty hard. I can't wait 'til I have it tricked out with some goodies.

Just spotted the first non stock ranger, besides my own, in San Antonio this morning in a Chick-Fil-A drive thru It looked like a black XLT SCrew FX4 with some nice wheels and tires on it. If this guy is on here I was in the Grey Ranger a few cars back in the drive thru lol

I have the Readylift SST 3 inch leveling kit. The kit comes with a 3 inch spacer for the front and a 1 inch block for the rear, but I ended up not putting the rear block on because after putting the front spacer on I measured the front and back and they were perfectly level. And usual I don't copy wheel and tire combinations I see other people do because I like to be unique but the wheel and tire package I chose was the exact one on the ReadyLift Ranger. They are XD Series wheels in a 18x9 with a +15 offset, and tires are a Nitto Ridge Grappler in 285/65R18XL.
