I'm 51, but would still like to whip a few donuts (in a safe manner and location) and do a little power-sliding occasionally.
As seen on numerous videos, while driving in the dirt or gravel, the driver seems to be kicking the rear end out a little. On my Ram, whenever I try this, TC takes over (even when I turn it "off" ) and spoils the fun. Will I be able to enjoy my new Ranger sideways, or will I be destined to "TC Hell" forever ??

This page of the Owner's Manual should be titled "How to Donut". Just hold that Traction Control button for five seconds and have some fun!

ok guys, since we're showing our true maturity here, on the next good snowfall, how about a poggie ride on that perfect height rear bumper.

We called it "hicky-bobbin' ". We also used to find a ditch full of snow, then ride on the front fender of my friends '73 Nova, get going 20-30 mph, and jump....it was a blast !! "You're required to grow old...growing up is optional":thumbsup:

I leave no evidence, lol

On another note in case some didnt know, there are two stages to "traction control off" push the button and its off but you still get some driver feedback. Press and hold the button for a while and another message pops up , basically saying that everything is off. You are on your own after that:like:

I believe the first push disables traction control but leaves stability control and roll control enabled. The longer push disables everything.
