Can anyone tell me what this is?

I think they call it an anti jounce bumper. Supposed to help with the bumps? The hole is a common thing.

It's just a bump stop for the leaf spring. Stops suspension stuff from whacking into your frame.

Most likely the hole has to do with how the stop is mounted, either a thru bolt or a rubber stopper pressed thru with pressure?

Thanks for that! I did find a thread where someone else posted pics of same item. Theirs does look a different color(orange mine brown)and slightly different then mine.

This is a Jounce Bumper..(not antiJounce) When I saw mine for the first time after purchasing the Ranger 2019 MY, I was dismayed, but functionally it works as intended...just does not look "pretty".... Do not worry....it is fully functional.

Yeah a bump stop. Has a hole in the middle so you can take out the bolt that attaches it to the frame so you can put a modded one on!
They have aftermarket ones so you can change the feel of the truck like changing shocks.
Come in play when towing or hauling a heavy load.

Here's a shot of mine with a load of approx 1.500+lbs, it feels like a bottom out feel but it allows the springs to flex without damaging anything.
