Hey y’all. I have a 2021 Ford Ranger STX SuperCrew FX2. I just would like some help with my build. I’m new to all of this. I am getting the leveling kit installed soon. I’m planning on doing most mods with just a level and as little trimming possible. In the future I plan on lifting it but for now just a level. Any comments will help a lot. Thank y’all.

nice truck! the fx2 comes with several goodies you may not need much. i think the easiest, cheapest and most satisfying mods are things done with forscan. you can sort of customize the trucks computer controlled items to your liking. heres a link that has a lil info . lots of other threads about forscan mods. https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/must-mods-with-forscan.17305/

Thank you, I'll take a look. I'm not the best with technology but I'll figure it out

Start by NOT installing a leveling kit. Your talking another $150 max and you can install adjustable shocks from Eibach. I think Bilstein has them for the Ranger also. You will not be perfectly level with a level kit.....I know that sounds silly....but true. The adjustable shocks will get you leveled and you will also have very upgraded front shocks. I would also install rear shocks to match and you will have a MUCH better riding Ranger. I've been doing this awhile, I know what I'm talking about.....lol ;)
Learn from our past mistakes....lol.

Look thru other posts. You will see (IMO) that the No.1 change to a truck's overall appearance is tires and wheels. And maybe running boards.

Depending on your objectives.. consider..
-improved lighting (baja designs etc)
-quality shocks
-better tires in similiar size and weight to ---stock (or pay the price in ride, acceleration, braking, fuel economy)
-interior floor liners
-bed power port
-ceramic paint coating

Have fun be objective!!
