Our 19 xlt came with these bridgestone 255/65R17 sized tires which we've had nothing but good to same about them, in fact, over the winter there snow traction was quite good. Now the bad news; At just over 20K of mileage the sipes are worn away on one, so they'll need to be replaced this fall. I've been running less PSI than what ford recommends and they have been seasonally rotated. What we'll do now and this is what many people here do in the lake snow belt, we'll get another set of steel rims and have summer ties on one set, and winters on the other. Of course the summer will be mounted on those fancy original rims. Was anyone else got so few miles on these tires?? Give me some time and I'll post photos of these worn tires. :crying:

What psi were you running? Have you checked your alignment?

Just got rid of my stock Bridgestones for the same reason. Only got 25K miles from them when wear bars began showing and wearing unevenly.

35 in mine, as that was what was on the door sticker. Rotated at every oil change at 5K miles.

I rotated mine once lol. I'm not worried about it because I want to put 265/70's on it

And that's exactly what I just did. I'm liking them so far. Continental TerrainContact.

When we got the truck the dealership had 40psi in all the tires. I thought the ride was terribly harsh so I went down to 36. Suppose I should have gone lower!!! I put them down to 34-+today but the tires being worn, its a moot point. Oh well....

That sure looks like a different tire. I'm in the snow tire search mode now..
It was one of the Bridgestone Dueler iterations.

Edit: Dueler HT. Came on my 2019 XLT Sport 2WD

I've still not located any 17" steel wheels for winter use. The below note I got today from the tire rack. Any idea's where I should try?

----------------------------------------------------------
We do not carry any 17" steel wheels for the ranger. Only 16"

Best regards,

-Tanner

I’ve got 27k on these tires and I’m burning the wear bar. Intend to replace them in Oct or Nov., probably with Michelin’s.
