Do you happen to know if the Classic Bedrug Bed liner comes with the “Integrated tailgate gap guard hinge keeps debris out of your truck bed” shown on the Bedrug XLT Bed mat?

The gap between the bottom of the tailgate and the end of the bed is pretty substantial. I’d like to make sure I get it sealed up better once I have my Diamondback HD cover installed (whenever that day comes).

I’m following someone else’s suggestion of using a horse stall mat from Tractor Supply. It’s 4’x6’ so it will have to be trimmed but the best part is it is 3/4” thick and sells for $44.

Need some advice. Hope I'm not hijacking the thread. Would you guys get a FORD RANGER BEDRUG XLT BED MAT or Line X spray in. Not planning to carry cargo much. My Ranger will be mostly commuting. Thanks.

Personally I’d get the full bedrug liner or spray-in. Not just the mat and not the drop-in (can’t see what’s going on under it). It doesn’t take much to scratch it up. Even luggage can mess it up; certainly bikes or tools. You would probably be happy with the full bedrug which Panda just started carrying.

Do the bed rug kits come with the adhesion promoter for spray in liners, or do we have to purchase that separately?

You will have to trim around the wheel wells and cut to length at the back. I am not sure what I am going to put on the tailgate. And I might try to paint the mat white. I live in AZ and that black is going to be hot till I get a cap on it.

I’m busy laying 7 pallets of sod. The mat is plenty heavy but won’t fit exactly around the wheel well but close enough for me. If the sod doesn’t kill me, I’ll do my best at measuring it as I cut it.

Isn’t the Ranger truck bed more than 4’ wide? We know that the length is ~5’, so a 4’ x 6’ mat won’t fit snuggly, right?
