Where is this? Not sure if I’ve seen it, but very cool! :like:
that chrome bumper rooster sat on the side of the road on highway 231 in brundige, pike county, for many years, my brother said they have since moved it inside. i know you have to have seen this one on the ross clark circle in dothan..............

I didn’t remember the rooster, but my husband did.:thumbsup:
that big wooded area behind the pig used to be the purina pig chow plant hence the big pig on the side of the road, that plant was there when i was a kid (many moons ago)

Few days late, but today these popped out from the ground. Totally natural runaways from somewhere (I'd guess came with topsoil) and naturally fertilized (zoom in for details).

Few days late, but today these popped out from the ground. Totally natural runaways from somewhere (I'd guess came with topsoil) and naturally fertilized (zoom in for details).

Yup, look like Crocus. They're first to react to Spring!
I have no idea what it's like in your neck of the plant, but I'd think this is a good sign. that winter is almost over.

The backyard plants are now blooming nicely. Like my front Ocotillo this one in the back sprung up a bunch of flowers over the past couple days. Check out how small it was back in 2015 when it was planted. The back wall is 8' for reference. The cactus and my red lantana are popping up now too. We had temps in the mid to upper 90's last week and they bloomed from it. I'm still amazed that any of these can live through the heat we have here all summer long.
