Agree on Katzkins quality. Lot of guys in the Mopar car club I was in had them installed. Some with the covers and many with the full monty replacements throughout. Actually, was at a show and there was a guy that had a bagged Model 3 Tesla with red Katzkin seats. Have to admit that it looked super clean.

Mark, I really like them. I just answered Jim as he asked the same. Honestly I really like these steps much better than the factory running boards I had before. I've been in/out of it a lot and have yet to see how others are cheese grating their shins? I just step on it flat with my left foot, grab the steering wheel and get in. Getting out I only use my heel and step off it that way. They're heavily textured so they grip really good.

What do you think of them? I see so many that don't like theirs but so far I like them and will most likely keep them.
I’m not crazy about the steps, but I won’t remove mine because they help a lot with door dings. I’ve already gotten a little paint on the edge of mine. I bet it messed up their door good. Lol

The only thing on the inside that I needed to do was add the rear tilting headrest form MP1. Also the front headrest hooks I had on MP1. These come in super handy for hanging water bottles or even grocery bags or in Annies case....Shopping bags when she's filled up the bed and back seat. ?‍♂ Then the rocker plugs (again off of MP1) and the 2 middle bed tie down. You guessed it, off of MP1. lol

My 2019 had those little plugs at the bottom of the rocker panel and my 2022 doesn't. I asked my body guy and he said it's better with them out because water and dirt can sneak in from the backside and if it's not plugged it'll drain. Less chance of rust someday. I have no idea, but that's what he told me when I had a scratch fixed.

They had them in there through 2021 I think? I guess you can look at it both way in that now they're open and water, salt and dirt can get up in there and cause it to rust. lol Either way they (Ford) must have put them there for a reason so I'm keeping them. My '19 was perfectly fine when I took them out and even the rocker the body shop cut on the passengers side showed no signs of rust. ?

I think 2019 and 2020 had them. They seemed to go away about the same time the front aluminum fenders went in early 2021. I don’t think it makes much difference either way to be honest. I‘m guessing Ford thought the same thing.

Friday morning I had to give MP2 a proper bath. So I foamed it, let soak for about 7-8 minutes then rinsed and foamed it again and washed it good with a microfiber mitt. After that I clayed the whole truck, dried it then 2 coats of Graphene Nano spray followed by 1 coat of Graphene detailer. Needless to say I was smoked and done for the day.

Washed and dried:

After detailing it:

It's hard to see the shine on white (or any light color) but you can tell from the reflection on the hood and door picture it shines up nicely. :sunglasses:

Thanks Bro, so far I'm loving it too! I was going to take them off but once I saw it in person I kind of like them. It kind of breaks up all the white down the sides.
I hear ya. White looks good. I have grey Tremor logos I have been meaning to put on but never do. I think Ford has a winner in the Tremor and I hope they bring it back in the new one.

At 54 I know it’s tough to get up in my Tremor without a step. Can’t speak for Dave. :like:
I'll be 59 the end of July and I can still get in there good without a step. ?The bed does seem a little higher than my '19 though. But that could be the uneven bed on this one.?
