Ok let me clarify if I may. I love extreme off-roading as much as anyone. I've had multiple Early Broncos over the years and my 77 had Detroits f/r, Yukons, 37s, beadlocks, Stak Monster B Box 3 speed x-fer case, BC Broncos frame-tied full cage, 4.6 mod motor, etc. etc. all very impressive stuff, But you know what? I also had a 68, uncut, 28s. D30 front, no lift, etc. and truly I had just about as much fun and smiles seeing what that little thing could accomplish. These Rangers are more capable than they get credit for and the off-road electronics may assist those who maybe don't have as much experience stepping off the pavement.
Not putting any skill level or rig build (or YJs ha! sorry just not a "Chrysler" fan) down but I hate seeing folks say "You NEED this or that in order to go off-road." (some basic recovery gear IS needed of course, that's just common sense. And decent AIRED DOWN tires are nice too) Yes, you will be limited as to where you can go, but you do NOT have to be limited in the fun you can have with your stock Ranger!
