Anyone mounted traction boards inside the bed?

I want to mount them as shown below, just not sure how to go about doing it. Scared to drill blindly ?

I will when I get around to buying a set. I'm going to install nutserts and use the bolts with the plastic knob heads to attach.

I keep mine in their storage bag in the topper. I can reach them in a pinch with from the tailgate.

Ah these nutserts are cool. I'm new to DIY. So I guess these are the steps I would take:

1. Get a 3/8 drill bit (or smaller?) and drill holes for 3/8 nutserts
2. Get a nutsert tool and install the nutserts
3. Install 3/8 set screws
4. Add star knobs

Get some bed racks designed to mount to the already present factory holes. Check out Builtright but there are others.

Yea those are pretty nice, only issue is that I would have to remove the drop-in bed liner.
