Curious if anyone with a 2019 Ranger FX4 has put a 2in lift on with 265/65/R18. If so any rubbing while off-roading??

Mine came factory with 265/60R18 (30.5" x 10.4") Almost a 31 '' tire and plenty of room.

Those are the same outside dimensions as a 265/70R17 and tons of members are running that size on an otherwise stock truck so you would be good to go for sure with a 2” kit. I’m getting the same 17” size tire put on later this morning!

I just got 265/70/17 but with 1.5 spaders and have rub think taking spacers off will help

I’m running 265/65/18 Tires on my 2021 but have the Roush Fox 2.0 Stage 1 suspension and ReadyLift High-Clearance Intrusion Beams. Plenty of room for even 265/70’s.
I consider the Ranger perfect perfect for this old guy with 65 series tires.

Looking into the same size for stock setup and found this thread. Any issues, almost 2 yrs later? Also curious which KO2 you went with specifically (load rating) and how that affected the ride at all

Still going strong. I did finally get the Eibach Pro coilovers on the front but ran the tires on stock suspension for at least a month. They are load range E which I think is the only option at that size. I was ok with that, as here in New England we have a lot of rocks that I have seen puncture tires on old abandoned roads. All and all I have been very pleased with tires. Ride is a little harsher than stock, but not anything really awful. Took about a 1 to 1.5 mpg hit.

Thanks! Do the Eibach coilovers add height? And get a little stiffer, expect the mpg. Still handle about the same?

The Eibach coilovers are height adjustable. I have mine set to only give me an inch extra height. Ride I'd definitely improved.

As Bob said, the Eibachs are height adjustable. I have the stage 2s all around with the fronts set at about 2 inchs of lift to level the truck. Have been very happy with the results. Handling is some improved due to the lack of bounce and losing the willowy feeling the truck originally had. I would say the rears made the most difference in the handling dept.

I'm running 265 65/r18 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T's on a 2.5' Rough Country Level with 0 issues and plenty of space. I'd imagine the 2' lift would be more than enough as well. I've put it through the ringer trying to get it to rub and it has so far passed all my tests at full lock.

One thing I'll say, going up a tire size with heavier tires - you feel it. There's an ever so slight hit on acceleration and 1-2 MPG. The Ford Performance Tune is something I'm interested in now. These Mickey's weigh 46lbs each. The stock 265/60s weighed 39lbs each. The lightest weight 265 65/r18 tire I found was the Toyo AT3 at 41lbs - I almost went with those but really liked the aggressiveness of the Mickey's and have read great reviews on them. The KO2's were originally what I wanted until I saw those were 51lbs each.

The pictures don't do justice on how good and proportionate it looks. Going to 265 70/r18 may require some additional modifications if you're truly off-roading. I think the 265 65/r18 is the optimal size for the Ranger with a level only. I'm super happy with it.

Hope you find what you're looking for.
