Nothing is for free. Those points, at least on mine, will pay for free service when needed. Get damper for free and pay for any service not covered like oil changes, etc. Just saying....

My next oil change will be to full synthetic oil and fo it myself.

You could save the points for a rainy day and find out the program is discontinued. A physical object is with more than a point with no cash value.

Even if they discontinued the program I'm sure Ford would either have a stop date for you to use them by or would grandfather you in and no one else. I'm not sure when the program started but I remember using them on my 2013 F150,beside there would be tens of thousands of angry customers if they didn't.:)
