Am I missing something from the front of my Lariat?

Seems a little bare, like a piece is missing with some louvers or something. It's hard to tell from other Ranger pictures I see, but I think I see some trim in this area on other Lariats.

Is this an FX4, seem to remember an air dam delete with that package, it may be what you are missing.

Looking at pictures I have, there is a black "block" looking piece right in the middle under the license plate on other FX4's like yours that I do not see in your picture. Not sure if that piece was removed when adding your front license plate bracket or was never there.

Do you have the Technology Package 501A or did you get 500A? If you did 501A then I think you're missing the middle Adaptive Cruise Control sensor that's mounted below the license plate mount.

That is a radar unit used by the adaptive cruse and the collision avoidance systems.

That's the adaptive cruise control module, if you optioned it. If not, then everything looks as it should from what i've seen.

Great, thanks everyone. I only have 500A so looks like all is as it should be.

Just curious, isn't it detrimental to put one of these in if you're trying to get more air to the turbo charger?

Yes, but I believe the cooler sits up higher on the Rangers.

Besides it was meant more as a joke..

But that's why you get one that's easily removed. If you're towing or racing or whatever, you want all of the air flow you can get over the CAC... But for normal everyday driving, you want to illuminate the road ahead of you.

I would zip tie black wire mesh across the hole or buy an insert. I had a rock cause several hundred dollars worth of damage to my condenser. I cover all my gaps with mesh now. There are many styles available, including honeycombed that should match. Most inserts are under $100.
