Aftermarket Hood Options

I wanted to see if anyone has installed an aftermarket hood. I had mine hailed out and don’t really want to buy an OEM one since their are some cool aftermarket ones. The RK Sport hoods have functional ram air. The duraflex hood looks like the Raptor(although it says it needs hood pins).

Yeah looks solid, even has weep holes strategically placed for water that enters intake.

That is why I originally asked. If it wasn’t duraflex and didn’t require hood pins I would be tempted.

You painted it (and it looks amazing) so I’m assuming you chose the fibreglass option rather than carbon fibre. How was the fitment? Any sanding to get proper alignment or just to prep for paint?

I bought it from a local store, is made of metal like 15 to 20 lbs more than the oem aluminum, fitment on this trucks are a little pain even oem parts
