So for all y'all out there with aftermarket downpipes. There seem to be only two choices I've found. AFE or SPD (chatted)

What y'all opinions on which one to go with. SPD seems to say they won't throw engine codes yet they're the cheaper downpipe. Where as afe doesn't mention if it'll throw codes or not.

Anyone have any experience with either one better than the other???

I got it installed and it definitely has a seat of the pants improvement feel. It is a tad louder but zero drone at highway speeds. I am planning on heading to the track tomorrow to see what differences it made and then chasing that 12 second pass...will keep informed with results.

I have the AFE offroad pipe in my office right now. I went with them because SPD took their offroad pipes off the menu.
I'm having a shop cut the 2.5" reduction off and add a V band flange and then doing the same with my MBRP catback with a flex pipe.
Going to get the down pipe coated inside and out as well.
