9 inches wider in total.Silly question, and maybe I am just being lazy..... how much wider does it make the truck?
Thanks! Just want to make sure it fits in the garage before I go down this rabbit hole.9 inches wider in total.
Each piece either if be a fender or bedside sticks out 4.5" and the radius of the wheel arch is increased by 2".
Its has been 2 months and 2 weeks now since i ordered a ADD 2020 raptor bumper for 1600$ i really like that style and they don't make that for the ranger. The ends will most likely need to be shortened an inch or 2 but the way the bumper is made it will be pretty easy to do so. I measured the frame rails on the raptor and they are not to far off compared to the ranger. So i will fab my own rail mounts and trim the fiberglass front valance under the headlights so it sits with the body lines like it does around the grill if the f-150. Should ship at the end of this month according to them. I cant wait i have my pods and everything ready to slap into the bumper.Yea the fiberglass itself was like 1200 plus shipping.
I paid 2k to get everything sanded, primed, and painted. But new shoes are definitely needed with these so at least another 2k. And then a new front bumper and most for the Ranger are 2k each. The stock rear bumper will do for now, I want to put my own tube rear bumper.
I have to mention that I always thought the raptor grill looked cool, but I thought it was a little over hyped and a little overrated. I finally saw one in person last weekend at a 4wp convention and wow oh wow do I need one now to match the aggressive stance the fiberglass gives it.

That things looks so sweet! The bumper is such a nice touch. Looks similar to the SVC bumper for the Ranger but that one would have come up short with the fiberglass.Ok other than the wrap, i have completed building my MALL RUNNER™️

How did the front bumper install go? You should post a thread on it! I'm sure others would be interested. Thanks man! Yep i looked at the SVC and if i didint have the fiberglass i would probably have run it instead
It needed some work to make it sit. I thought about doing a write up but im not sure if people will want to go that route. The face of the raptor is more squared compared to the ranger round face. So when i mocked up the bumper the ends weren’t following the curve. I have a pipe bender so i bent the edges in ( i didint go in too much because i wanted the bumper to take impact before reaching the glass ) them i had trim the rails a bit for the bumper to clear then i welded some thick square tubing to make new mounting points. How did the front bumper install go? I mean I'm interested just to learn some fab work that pertains to the 5G Ranger! It needed some work to make it sit. Thats cool! The square tubing did all what was necessary it was used as a mounting surface and also to space the bumper out forward more. And i chose a thick one so it wouldn't buckle when tighteningI mean I'm interested just to learn some fab work that pertains to the 5G Ranger!
Wow, that's an awesome looking Ranger. Bad ass Ranger!!!Ok other than the wrap, i have completed building my MALL RUNNER™️
