So I'm gonna be adding a 1000w inverter and a secondary 12v battery bank. My question is, did you guys tie directly to your battery for charging or did you guys use a battery combiner? It's only a group 24 agm battery.

no expert and have not tried it on this truck but i hear that the 5g rangers do not like any mods to the battery / charge system. i would use a combiner and also a dedicated battery bank breaker switch so you can easily eliminate the extra battery from the system, or run both or charge etc.
