But only if you can find someone to pay that much....
That said, there may well now be a dealer somewhere that will oblige you!

I just traded in my 2019 XLT with 23000 miles for a 2021 XLT. The dealer gave me $32000 about $5000 more than paid for it in 2019. So I just financed the 2021 for $22000, after the value vs my payoff, with a lower interest rate.

Just don't like that I lost the front parking sensors.

if there was a financial payoff to make it worth it i might do that. i'm thinking, however, of sales tax (though if the trade was more than the cost of new then no sales tax) but excise and insurance would go up.

i boought a '14 jetta diesel leftover right before the dieselgate scandal and got over 10k more from VW than i paid after driving that beautiful monster for 1.5 years. they also gave me $500 on a gift card (which i put down on a gold crown - don't even get me started on the irony). problem with ford is i really like my '19 stx with 7500 miles and dwindling town excise tax so i'm not sure about putting in the effort to trade up.

that said, i know i'll have to make a ford dealership visit soon to rule things out.

thanks and no thanks,
dipstick jim

I kept telling myself that if my offer got to $XXXXX that I would sell or trade my truck.

When I got an offer over that, I still have my Ranger.

When it came right down to it I liked it more than I thought.
