that whole channel is full of bonkers recoveries.

there was a guy in a bone stock jeep that took the WRONG access road up to maintain a cell phone tower that they had to go get, and that one really pushed the limits of what some of their recovery vehicles could do.

I saw that episode. It gave me anxiety. Also, I hope that kid/guy gets paid decently

4WD not much help here.
4 wheel drive doesn't help much on ice or snow that has been compacted and smooth. Tracks and a heavy vehicle won't even help. Yes I slid around quite a bit in a M88 60 ton tracked recovery vehicle while stationed in Germany during the winters.

Considering the damage and the effort involved in recovery I'm kind of surprised that plane didn't just get written off.

Probably was, just had to be removed from the landscape... As I remember, the plane landed without issue for the most part, but sitting in a windy area, not tied down, the wind flipped it.

Agreed, allot of this program is 'what not to do.'
