As to the wave issue, 8 pages about waving and I can't believe I read them all (and responding). With that being said, a while back I saw a quote posted by member CB750F that may apply, "In a time when you can choose to be anything you want, choose to be kind". A wave probably could do no harm, but might make someone feel recognized in a congested world.

I get the same reaction here but I really don't mind. When I had my Jeep it was really annoying having every Jeep wave at you as you passed them. Seeing as there's a Jeep every 50' it got old quick.?

I'm starting to see a lot more Rangers here now so I got to thinking I should make up a sign that says "damper on board". Maybe more will wave to me.?

I mean, there isn't a lot of us 5g Ranger folks out there. When one of them saw me in one of them, I expected some kind of acknowledgement. But no, he just kept looking straight ahead at the stoplight.

I think the part your missing is most people consider their vehicle as a non starter-they just don't care. Which really is fair enough!
