Some people are totally unaware of what they’re driving

Sometimes an asshole slips through the cracks and buys one.I expected some kind of acknowledgement. But no, he just kept looking straight ahead at the stoplight.
Some buy a vehicle because it is cool.Back when I had an STi, I said I don't wave back at Subaru owners... One guy literally asked why I bought my car. Lulz...
because its a ranger to many people its your standard run of the mill pickup truck.... i never got a wave in my tacoma either the only thing i got was photos taken of it because of the theme my truck was based off. i never got waves in my si either and that was a rare one to see around here! to see a 10th gen coupe si was super rare! but nope they just ignored me so it was meh the only place ive gotten others attention is when riding loads will wave or give a head nod welll unless you ride a harley then its rare they wave to something other then a harley....He didn't wave at me.
I was kinda surprised.
Classic car guys always give a classic car guy a thumbs-up.
Truckers do it. Bikers do it. Even people passing by each other slowly on a quiet private road.
I mean, there isn't a lot of us 5g Ranger folks out there. When one of them saw me in one of them, I expected some kind of acknowledgement. But no, he just kept looking straight ahead at the stoplight.
That has always been my experience as well here in PHX.He didn't wave at me.
I was kinda surprised.

Thread reminds me of the Seinfeld episode iirc correctly jerry pulls along side someone he knows picking their nose, had a clowning bud who would fake having his finger up his nose if he pulled up along side someone doing that.
I knew a guy in Vancouver who lost the tip of his index finger down to the knuckle. As a joke, he’d set it against a nostril to make it look like he was digging away. It always got a reaction, then a chuckle when he moved it away. This guy would simulate it with a finger moving up and down the side of his nose. But maybe instead of a ranger wave to be different and show our pedigree we can do the Ranger "pick".
He may have been embarrassed that his truck did not look as good as yours. He didn't wave at me.

I only wave to Rangers with graphene and dampers, or on the way to the dump. =pHe didn't wave at me.
