Nice, great work with the spacers, I like it, can a 16 inch rim fit with a slightly larger tire?

Yes but why would you want a 16” wheel? Tires are more expensive and harder to find then just going with a 17”, 18”, or 20”

Just a personal preference, 17 looks a little to big, a 16 wouldn't change that much in size, I'd like to see a 16 with a larger tire to see what it would look like.
