As someone who doesn't like "leather" seats, it confuses me why they don't offer a non leather option for the raptor or lariat...

Preach, brother. There are an insane amount of premium non-leather coverings for upholstery. There is a very good reason why the Toyota Crown, a limousine for Japanese executives in a tropical climate, has a very popular heat-wicking micro wool seat covering option for a $200k vehicle.

wait for the end result, they are not on strike against Ford, Ford has a profit margin % above cost, they have to in order to keep building new plants, Reserch & Dev. and upkeep, add in utilities, and a hold back in case of an economy downturn and they will make that what ever happens so it only stands to reason cost go up, interest rates on their loans go up, so does price, they are not going to eat it, the share holders are not going to eat it, they will just look for something better to invest in, it is you not wanting to pay more for your truck, You are the end problem, come on it only means a few more bucks a month on your loan...

Keep in mind Dan’s using the Canadian Ford site and that price is in Canadian Pesos - still bloody insane for a Maverick!
March 2021 a Lariat FX4 with every option and Black Acc Package was $55K out the door.

EDIT: I Meant to quote the pic of the Maverick at $56K with this post, but apparently quoted the wrong post lol.

No kidding. I am waiting for at least one company to finally get a clue and allow you to opt for vinyl flooring on any trim level

As someone who spends more hours in a patrol vehicle than in my own home, I love vinyl flooring.

It can be 5 years old and all it takes is a little soap & water, a scrubbing brush, a shop vac, and it comes out looking brand new like the day it came out the factory.

That price ain’t shit but I refuse to pay the $40,000 markup the local assfuck dealers are asking. Told them all to shove it. I’m done with Ford.

Funny you say that. I was at my dealer the other day looking at a Bronco for S&G's. My sales guy (same guy that sold me my truck) was telling me a story on the F150 Raptor R they had. While the guy who ordered the truck was talking with his salesman, another customer walked up who wanted the Raptor R as well, offered the original customer $10k to get up and walk away, and $10k ADM to the dealer to take the truck that day. The OG customer politely declined and he left with the truck he ordered, hopefully it was out of spite lol.
Yep...that's exactly what I meant, and it is what keeps the prices higher than normal outside of inflation. I see the specials on the Mach-E too, but in my area, the discounts were met with higher ADM's. I have a 2020 Ranger and a 2022 Sonata Limited. Both are paid off, and will last me many years to come. I only have 24k miles on the Ranger as it's my foul weather and Home Depot truck.

While I tend to agree when it comes to mostly cosmetic up-sale packages (Yea I am talking about you $13,000+ Roushe owners... sorry) I am not sure I understand your thought process regarding a trim top tier truck.

These prices are the new norm, its not going back. Those of you thinking it will are a few bananas short for lack of a better description.

When your current "paid for truck" is finally ready to go, let us know how the price shopping goes for a truck with those features and get back to us.
Inflation is here to stay, yes. ADM's will have me buying private party in the future. My Ranger has a whopping 24k miles on it and will last me for years. I'm older (57) and am debating retirement at the end of this year or next. I'll be fine.
