Can you explain more on what happened and what it looked like?

Back in July I was washing my truck and noticed the windshield delaminating in the upper corner on the passenger side. Contacted the dealer where I bought the truck. They replaced it under warranty. Told me it was a known issue with the new rangers. I've not had any problems with my local dealership with any of my vehicles purchased from them. A good small town dealership.

I don't know...I've changed my oil many many times but never noticed smell of gas...what is this fuel in oil thing?

I could park my Ranger and just wait till you catch up...but that would be so painful...?

Check out the " fuel in oil " thread there are some unfortunate owners that have a significant amount of gas in the crankcase that it raises the level into the damage too the engine area.

I heard of those threads but haven't followed them...why did people become concerned in the first place? I haven't smelled gas or noticed any dilution in my oil so I've never bothered to look further...guess I'm doing ok...?

When I saw it I about freaked. I was thinking here I spent all this money on a new truck, had it a couple months and things are going bad so soon!
