Here are a list of things I've noticed on my 2021 that are different or the same as my 2019:
SAME
- Mine is ok, but many on the lot have funky window trim fit just like was on my 2019.
- The wastegate still squeaks. You can only hear it outside the car when idling.
- The B&O stereo still glitches from time to time with Android Auto. Like a hiccup when playing music.
- Tires were severely overinflated from dealer 44psi when sticker says 30psi.
- FX4 suspension is still pretty wallowy for my taste. Will be going Fox 2.0 or 2.5 once the next round of stimulation happens. ?
DIFFERENT
- "Ranger" no longer embroidered on the floormats or seats.
- Driveline vibration on mine is non-existent now, though I test drove an XLT that had some.
- Back seat latches with almost no effort now.
- Garaged most of the time so not sure I'll miss the wiper warmers.
- So far, no hint of gas smell in the oil ?
- Option for backseat reminder is good for those with little ones. Not something I'll use, but good on Ford for including it.
