Never mind..Obviously wrong site to join for input on Ranger modifications.
Someone ignores me over blocks? All my diesel F250's had blocks from the factory,
I'm a 63-year old Retired Ford Technician (mechanic) and built several rock crawlers (toyota's
and first gen Bronco's) and they all had some form of rear blocks.
Asking about 1" blocks was just a thought not looking for being condemned by key board warriors that read blocks are bad. Anyway enjoy you're site and take suggestions with a grain of salt.
Not a Ford Motor Co. Tech....Sound like a dealership tech. Rarely would a Ford Motor Co. Tech build a Toyota. Just do not get this thread. Husky44 must have thought he was on on a Taco Forum? I just looked him up....his first post..joined this morning...Something does not add up here.

Wow, this didn't go downhill fast...it started at the bottom of the hill
It never made any sense to begin with. When I saw it only the very first line was posted before he edited it. I don't think @LoneRNGR said anything wrong, just the OP didn't like his response for some reason.

When I replied it was still the original before 1st edit. Then turned into a single sentence. Then, looks like he went back again after that and finished it off…

Husky44 should consider him/herself lucky he/she didn't ask about a damper......what a shit-storm that would have been ?

That makes me wonder… if I could modify my damper to be 1” shorter, then it would be like having a Maverick tailgate and I could haul some plywood home, you know, to build a treehouse our some other DIY projects.

Wow...too busy putting miles + sleeping in my Ranger and totally missed this thread...I could've answered that question without quitting the forum...I added a 1" block because I carry so much camping gear...is that bad?
