I find mine to be useless for those exact reasons but I also don't really have any places where I'm parking without overhead lighting; I could see it being helpful when walking up to the truck in an unlit parking lot I suppose. How does a light under the mirror help when the door is opened? Isn't the light now moved away from the entry area and also on the other side of the door?
Amazon is stupid sometimes.... I have a 2019 and yes, the mirrors fold in. The only Rangers that have the puddle lights are the Lariats.Thank you,
I had went to the link and it states that it doesn’t fit 2021 Ford Ranger.
What year Ranger do you have and do you have the mirrors that fold in?
That is where I find them helpful. We first had them on our 2004 Explorer and at first I thought they were kind of silly but I grew to like them.I find mine to be useless for those exact reasons but I also don't really have any places where I'm parking without overhead lighting; I could see it being helpful when walking up to the truck in an unlit parking lot I suppose.
