Hey all,
Fairly new here and wanted to get my list of mods out there. Feel free to ask me anything about why I did which upgrade over another, install questions, etc.
Mods:
- 2.5” Rough Country Leveling kit (upgrading to full suspension soon but this gets me the clearance for tires and other adds for now)
- BFG KO2’s 285/70R17s
- 1.25” hubcentric spacers (will do offset wheels soon but one thing at a time)
- MBRP Dual Split Catback exhaust 3”
- Turbosmart VTA Blow off valve
- Roush Cold Air Intake
- Velossatech Wide Mouth Intake Scoop
- AFE Power Air Scoop
- Diode Dynamics Fog Lights
- Running Boards
- Raptor Grille
- Self Made Raptor LED grille lights
- Gator Tri Fold Tonneu Cover
- Bushwacker OEM Fender Flares
- Stubby Antenna
- SPD 3” catted downpipe
- Custom 3” exhaust thru and thru
- Magnaflow straight thru muffler in midpipe
Install Setbacks
Install Setbacks
- Self Installing any leveling kit or suspension on this truck yields a high likelihood of dislocating the CV joints up front. Use extreme caution and have vehicle inspected after install. I dislocated both on install, fixed the right myself, but had to get a replacement left CV half shaft because I busted it on install, causing grease leakage and clunking noise in steering.
Warranty Claims:
- Squealing noise coming fromdriveshaft, diagnosed and fixed by Ford under warranty. Driveshaft came 1 degree bent from factory and wore out the carrier bearing, causing squealing noise. Full driveshaft and bearing assembly replaced
