Did Ford keep the six wheel stud sizes of 1/2"-20 on the new 2019 Ranger?

If so, using the 16" steel rims, on the XL, the stud/lug nut torque value is still 90-100 ft. lbs. of torque?

Please note: Over torqueing wheel studs might stretch them and break them.
Under torqueing wheel studs might cause the wheel(s) to fall off.
By properly using a torque wrench tool will eliminate both!

M12 X1.5 Torque to 135Nm. Always torque in a cross pattern. Retorque after 100 miles.

Looks like that's equivalent to 99.570890155 ft lb, according to an online calculator (my torque wrench doesn't have Nm).

Anybody know if this wheel pattern is the same as the late models F150?

Or, what is the wheel pattern and what other wheels would fit?

I'll probably shop for some wheels for snow tires at some point.

This simply isn’t true. It all depends on the bolt size and thread pitch.
For example current Gen f150s are 150ft/lbs, where as a 90s Ford Festiva are 85ft/lbs.

They are not the same wheel pattern as the f150, nor the same bore size

Anything outside a full size truck, suv, car, etc. is 80-100 ft lbs. Any make going back decades that I've ever seen, anyway.

The bolt circle diameter is extremely common, 6x139.7/6x5.5, same as the Silverado, Colorado, Titan, and a long list of other vehicles. The offset is relatively unusual, however.

Hi Folks,

I was blown away by the F150 at 150ft-lbs. What on earth went wrong?...never saw above 130ft-lbs for the Explorer for a limited time to solve a wheel retention problem which I detailed in another post. I would be amazed if I could break loose a wheel torqued so much with the provided jack handle/lug nut wrench! Some thing is not right here in my opinion... If that is the case with the Ranger, then I will have to carry a 3ft breaker bar....Sheesh...

best,

Can't tell you how many studs I broke off my '05 f150 when I had it years ago. It was a little ridiculous

How long are the wheel studs? When adding spacers I assume you're gonna need longer studs? How do you figure out how much longer you'll need?
