The Old Man Emu BP-51 Bypass Suspension Kit is probably going to be the most important upgrade you make to your 2019-2022 Ford Ranger. Boosting your Ranger's horsepower means absolutely nothing without the performance oriented suspension to keep you comfortably cruising over bumps, boulders, and trails. The BP-51 suspension lift package includes complete front and rear upgrades of your Ranger's shocks and struts as well as reservoirs for each. This kit is ideal for off-road enthusiasts who enjoy personal customization that'll allow them to adjust their ride for any type of driving in a moment's notice.

Bypass Technology
The range of BP-51 shock absorbers are adjustable in both rebound and compression to allow for more in depth customization of your Ranger's ride, whereas most other adjustable shock absorbers only let you customize the compression. Other shock absorbers depend on fluid flowing through the piston for damping. The BP-51 shock absorbers utilize an alternate path from one chamber to another that bypasses the piston allowing for more dynamic damping. The bypass route also allows for greater levels of damping that wouldn't be achievable with only the conventional single route. This dynamic damping is exactly what gives the BP-51 suspension range such a controlled ride. Ultimately, you're left with pistons that have their movements slowed down when they near full compression and extension. With all the movement going on in your shocks, a remote oil reservoir ensures maximum oil capacity. Maximum oil capacity means minimal oil temperatures to ensure your suspension can keep up with you all day and night. Say goodbye to stiff, bumpy rides and nasty topping/bottoming out with this innovative suspension package.

Manufactured in-house by ARB, aircraft grade 6061 aluminum was specifically chosen to dissipate heat and prevent corrosion more effectively than any steel or alloy steel would. Each body in this kit is hard anodized finished for an extra layer of heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. The replaceable shaft guard that comes equipped in this kit alone should be worthy of your trust. The high-density polyethylene, an industrially durable plastic, is perfectly designed to prevent unwanted debris-related damage to your most essential upgrade. Teflon-lined spherical bearings and oversized rubber bushings were chosen in the development of the BP-51 suspension package in pursuit of longevity. That’s actually a really good deal. I didn’t realize it included all that.
Im not sure anyone did originally as OME/ARB had very limited information on the kit. But that is why it was updated.
