2019-2022 Ford Ranger Mishimoto Borne Off-Road Snorkel MMAI-RGR-19N
2019-2022 Ranger Mishimoto Borne Off-Road Snorkel Features:
Dust and debris are part of the game when it comes to off-road excursions. On the 2019-2022 Ford Ranger, the air intake system pulls outside air through the passenger side of the grille. With this stock location of the air intake system, you will likely run into some trouble with thick dust and debris near the ground kicking up into it or water flooding it when you run into standing water creating air that will not be fresh when it hits the engine. If you want to solve this crucial off-road problem, Mishimoto has you covered. The 2019-2022 Ranger Mishimoto Borne Off-Road Snorkel extends the air inlet 24" above the stock location allowing for cleaner air to filter through. To protect against larger debris, a 6" inlet with a steel mesh cover is included to block it from entering the the snorkel. This included inlet can be swapped for a pre-filter for even more filtration to keep the main air intake cleaner and lasting longer. Mounted to Stock Lower Airbox
The 2019-2022 Ranger Mishimoto Borne Off-Road Snorkel mounts on the passenger side of the 2021-2022 Ford Ranger body over the stock fresh air inlet with strong 2.5mm-thick steel brackets. This snorkel is compatible to use with either the stock air intake system or the Mishimoto Ranger Air Intake. For even more reassurance of the longevity of this product, the brackets and inlet screen are finished in a micro black powder coat. The snorkel tube itself is made of precision rotational-molded tubing that is UV-resistant cross-linked polyethylene that is able to withstand intense heat and any forms of debris you throw at it. This is truly a durable off-road product that will ensure that you are getting the freshest air possible into your engine to get maximum off-road performance and power during your adventures. Bottom line, the health of your engine is the most important thing when it comes to continuing to explore forward and journey on. - 4” inlet duct cutout on the lower airbox is required (template included).
- Requires minor modification to the inner A-pillar for assembly (not visible from outside of vehicle).
- Requires minor trimming behind OEM fender grille. This modification will not impact re-assembly of the grille if snorkel is removed.
- Requires 4” snorkel tube cutout on inner fender (not visible from exterior of vehicle).
