If anyone is looking for a convenient little tuner without custom tunes, the EVO HT2 is a nice little unit, that doubles as a code reader as well as giving you ability to adjust for tire size, gear ratio and more.

Plenty in stock and ready to ship, if your in the market shoot me a message for forum pricing.

Ranger EVO HT2 Tuner Features:
  • Adds power and performance to your Ranger
  • Compact, handy device with tons of features
  • Allows for tire size, gear ratio, and other adjustments
  • Can read and clear DTC trouble codes
  • Multiple tunes and data-logging capability
Adds Power and Performance to your Truck in a Compact Package
The 2019-2020 Ranger 2.3L EcoBoosts respond remarkably well to performance ECU tuning, and the Edge EVO HT2 Handheld tuner packs several Edge Performance tunes into a compact and ergonomic handheld tuner package so that you can jump up your Ranger EcoBoost's power levels and improve its overall drivability with absolutely no hassles. The Edge EVO HT2 may not be very large, but it comes loaded down with all the features you'd expect of an awesome handheld tuning device along with the tunes your 2019 to 2020 Ranger 2.3L EcoBoost needs to take its performance to the next level. On top of its tunes, the Edge EVO HT2 can also read and clear DTC trouble codes, adjust your tire size and axle ratio to correct your speedometer, and features performance testing to gauge just how well your Edge tunes and other modifications are working. Easy to Use Handheld Device with Color Screen and OBD-II Cable
The Edge EVO HT2 is built around a surprisingly larger full-color LCD display and uses intuitive button controls to navigate through the device's ergonomic menus. The EVO HT2 comes with an OBD-II cable that hooks right up to your truck and allows the device to display vehicle information, pull DTCs, and load tunes to your Ranger. The EVO HT2 also saves a copy of your factory tune file so that you can always return your Ranger back to its stock tune for trouble shooting or for taking it in for service work. The EVO HT2 comes standard with three levels of performance tunes, a tow tune, and an economy tune so that you get a bunch of tune options to meet your truck's application or power needs. Once your tune of choice is loaded into your Ranger, you can unplug the device and store it in a safe location. Thanks to its small, compact design, it won't take up a ton of room in your Ranger's interior.

2019-2020 Ranger Tuning Power Levels:
  • Economy Tune: 49 horsepower & 71lb-ft of torque
  • Towing Tune: 49 horsepower & 71lb-ft of torque
  • Extreme Tune: 66 horsepower & 96lb-ft of torque

I found this doing a search for Edge tuners. Does anybody use one? The OP says no custom tunes, but it lists 3 tunes in the description.

This reminds me of the Vance&Hines Fuelpak I had plugged in on 2 bikes I had. basically canned tunes. The Fuelpak had options for different cams, air intakes, exhaust, etc. My bikes ran good using it, I know never as good as a custom tune though.
I MIGHT be interested in this. Any experts out there have an opinion on this one?

Wouldn't recommend, back when I had my Focus ST, most of the internal engine issues people ran into seemed to stem from canned tunes that never were fine tuned for individual vehicles. I ended up going with a Stratified tune once I hit stage 3, and I ran that tune hard for quite some time. Never threw an issue, ran amazingly well.

For about the same money as the Edge tuner, you can get something from Unleashed and Livernois, both of whom will adjust the tunes based on data pulled from your truck.
