If your Ranger was built on Dec. 8, 2022, you might want to take a look.

Being an early adopter for a new model year is rarely a good thing, but you 2019 owners hit the jackpot.

What's nice is the drivetrain was already in use here and proven. The ROTW Rangers were out for several years too so it wasn't as much as a crap shoot as it use to be.

Even the new 6G is already out ROTW and the drivetrain is the same as we have now. The Raptor is based off the Bronco Raptor (engine, trans., suspension) so "hopefully" that'll transition smoothly.

I believe the 2.3 will go to direct and port injection for 2024. Who knows what else will change, but at lest the technology being leveraged has been used already on other Ford engines.

Do they have to tell prospective buyers that this NEW truck on the lot has had the ENGINE replaced by the DEALER and not the factory ?
Dealer installed yes. Factory no. And it should appear on Carfax if dealer replaced.

I can’t find the thread but wasn’t someone just saying the dealer couldn’t find his oil leak?

A local Chevy dealer was always a target for its Silverados getting windows smashed and rims/tires stolen. They never informed the would be owners that it had been vandalized.

Far different than a field action engine replacement.
