I miss my 3-car garage; we downsized a few years back.

How do you like the bds lift?
    1. sbacpo
So far so good. I've only got a couple hundred miles on the lift. It definitely firmed up the ride and improved the handling. Bigger, wider tires contribute to that as well.

hey anyway you can post a pic of the low profile crash bar. and did you hav to do any other trimming so there is no rubbing at full turn?

I didn't have to do anymore trimming. I'll take and post some more pictures later, after I get home.

Hey there, I really like your build. If I go with the bds 3.5 suspension and put on 265/70/17's
I shouldn't have any rubbing on the crash bars right?
  6. Tod Riecher
Can I ask a few questions...I plan I purchasing the BDS 3.5 lift, basically the same setup as yours.
Same tire size but different brand. I will not be running any wheel spacers. So basically my questions are: any rubbing, how does it ride and most importantly do you like it? I'm not really concerned with MPG as I know it'll take a hit. I'm getting a shop to install but haven't gotten a quote yet. I appreciate your feedback, as you know this is a pricey venture and I would like to know what to expect. That's why I like these forums, to ask for advice! Again, thank you for your time.

Tod - no problem. I do like the lift and the way it rides. Seems to be less bouncy, handles better. With the crash bar replacement there doesn't appear to be any rubbing but I haven't really flexed the suspension too much. It is very tight at the top between the tire and the spindle (like I can't get my finger between them tight) and it probably wouldn't ever be a problem but I have bought 1.5" spacers to give myself a little piece of mind and to give the truck the look that I want.

Where you get the spacers from? what spec on it?
    Thank you
    1. sbacpo
They are Faction Fab 1.5" hubcentric wheel spacers. I got them from Stage 3 Motorsports.
