I just installed a MBRP exhaust and my MPG dropped from 16.6 to 14.6 - which I have a problem with. I have the FPP tune and have had it for 12+ months or so and I...
I'm installing King coilovers and I'm threading the body down as instructed to get my 3 inches of lift. The thing I don't get is, it seems like I'm permanently sacrificing 3 inches of spring travel so I can have this lift. Seems kinda crappy? Am I missing something? Is there a better way to...
Hey all
I need to move the ACC module to make room for my winch. I'm did as instructed and it's effectively unfunctional and I don't know what to do.
The ACC unit is not happy. It does not maintain speed and distance anymore, keeps losing vehicles, keeps throwing errors telling me...
I'm selling my pull off parts because I'm tired of storing them and would benefit more from fancy APG springs. These are all factory parts on the truck when I bought it new from the dealer in July.
For sale:
4x Hancook Dynapro tires. 265/65R17. Maybe 4k easy miles.
4x Lariat Sport Package...
What's everyone doing for extra lighting? A pillar, fog, work, whatever. If your answer is nothing, sit back. I'm curious about what supplemental lighting you've done.

This guy did a really incredible breakdown and head to head comparison of fog lights, and also explains the various other types of lights. I realize it's a Tacoma forum post, I'm not trying to catfish...
Watched this extremely good video that answered a crapload of suspension questions I had, but am left with one question. In it he says a lift doesn't do as much for providing clearance as adjusting the control arms - mostly adjusting the lower control arm and then sourcing an upper control arm...
So, I see everyone's recommendations for lifting the rear comes in a couple variations, all of which involve the leaf springs - either with a block or with additional leafs.
So my question is this.
As I understand it the shocks in the rear are intended to provide suspension - it's only under...
A couple friends (Paul, Henry) and I rendezvoused at Snoqualamie Pass in Washington and drove out to Salmon La Sac to scout it for camp sites for next weekends monthly meet up.
Road was socked in and somehow none of us had chains but we still made it a good way in before turning around...
Hey all
In AU and other countries offroading insurance policies are order of the day. But here in the US I'm having a hard time finding a provider.
Sure my comprehensive insurance will cover like $5k worth of upgrades and "normal use", but that's nothing compared to...
Pleasantly surprised to learn the Ford ProCal tool purchased with my ECU tune will adjust speedometer for new tire sizes, too. You have to calculate rotations-per-mile yourself, but mfg post that stat if you know to look for it. Hooray for accurate speedometer again.
Edit: Posting up here so...

My wife and I do a lot of outdoors activities, mostly pivoting around bikes. This time we're going to Utah to ride Cathedral Valley near Capitol Reef in Utah. We've not taken the truck on a road trip or camping...
Question about rim widths.
Let me preface this with, I'm a bike nerd. I understand tires and wheels very well. I build them, I ride them, I teach others. In bike world, tire profile is usually improved with wider rims, especially when mountain biking. So I'm spec'ing out new rims and tires...
