Update from dealer. They compared my unit to a 20 ranger and 19. excessive play was only found in my unit. the result is they are replacing entire steering column as per ford due to safety issue. Btw my build date on vin is 12/21.. stay safe

Thanks for the reply no tilt steering is an easy fix for drunk blind man. The steering wheel has play in it when hands on the wheel at 12 and 6 position. During normal operation you feel vibration and wheel movements during operation

I should have looked for this thread before starting a new one. I am having the same issue as this gentlemen stated above. I am hoping that ford technicians are aware such issue and can perform proper procedures to fix issue.
