Thanks guys, I don’t have much on the ole beast right now besides the 285s. I kept stock wheels and just removed the plastic coverings on the crash bars( not the actual bars themselves.) I do have a 2.5” leveling kit buts that’s it. I’ve been looking into the high clearance ant intrusion bars...
Hey Guys, I’m looking to throw some new wheels on my 2020 XLT. I currently have 285/70R17’s on my truck and I’m just looking to add a wheel that will give me a little bit of a wider stance. I live in MA and here spacers are illegal. (Very sad.) I just want a little bit of a wider stance, I have...
Tires! I went with the Firestone Destination XTs in 285/70 and no rub after removing plastic covers on the crash bars, first day with them on so we will see but so far so good! Fingers are crossed, rides great and I’m happy.
Oh cool lol, yeah Massachusetts is very strange about their laws. I had to check with a few family friend police officers to make sure I was within the regulations before even starting the buying process. How do you think the 285s would be if I cut out the crash bars? Not opposed to doing it...
Awesome looking truck man! I’m on somewhat of a budget due to how old I am but I will definitely consider the eibachs. Would the 285s fit on stock rear suspension and a 2.5” level? Thinking about swapping out the front crash bars with high intrusions from ReadyLift.
Did you need any spacers? I’m living in MA where they are illegal so I’m looking for anyone else without them on this tire size/level height combo.
Hi French, kinda new to this whole scene. I like the 285 Firestones and I’m thinking about pulling the trigger. I saw you removed the crash bar covers but what do you mean by moving them up? Is it something easy to do? Hoping I could pull off 285s without spacers
