    I used the above but used a Wolfhaus connecter/split harness. It turns off when the tailgate closes.

    Has anyone installed one of these outlet charger in the bed of the truck? I am wondering where you installed it if you did. My concern is that if I cut into my bed of my truck I won't have the two and half clearance or two inches if I bend the leads. Where did you find to be the best location?

    Agreed!!! I use the software version. The physical buttons are useless and even unsafe while driving.
