Hey Benny,
Looking for your price on one of these, Ford Performance Differential Cover Kit - M-4033-R | Levittown Ford (levittownfordparts.com) .
Thanks.
All I can say is "WOW". What a difference! Thank you so much! Dude, I owe you a beer!
Now I will sit quietly and look for other awesome bits of info from this forum. :inspect:
Just did mine, took about 45 min. Mostly trying to figure out how to jack the body up so I can get the bottom bolts in. Took a quick drive around the block. First impression is the floaty feel is gone. Accelerating around corners are not a bouncy operation, I can keep my foot in the gas...
Bought one of these. Haven't used it a lot, just liked the idea it was in a ammo can and it is a local company.

Like his review. Wish Ford had made an effort in designing the bed and interior of our Rangers like they did with the Maverick. Feeling a little disappointed with my Ranger now.
Finally got WIFI working on my home network. Reported I was up to date. It appears that if 802.11r is enabled Sync will not connect via WIFI. When I turned it off on my access point, it connected with no problem. I think I saw an article somewhere about this issue with Ford not adopting 802.11r.
Ok, as they say " Third time's the charm". Downloaded the file the third time and it unzipped and updated. Now Ford won't accept the XML file. Crazy system.
I tried to download the files twice and keep getting an extraction failure when I unzip the files. Also tried to connect to my WIFI at home and it keeps failing. UGH! Now what?
If you are military or a veteran the discount on the Extang Xceed is very significant if you call direct and ask. Made my decision for me in an instant, as I was looking at both of these.
I don't understand why Ford doesn't see that the engine compartment is the jewelry box of a vehicle. (To quote a tv custom car builder) I mean their engines are UGLY.
So I broke down and got the part numbers off the connectors and searched from there. Mouser had the parts and crossed the info from there for the contacts. At least the manual had the wire sizes so I could order the correct contacts.
Thanks.
Just got my wiring diagram book. Problem with it and other pages I see here is that there are no part numbers for the connectors. Anyone have an idea of how to get the part numbers?
My local dealers are not even ordering trucks with the spray-in. They go with a local provider that offers a lifetime warranty. Ford is only a one year warranty. I also got a 25% Veterans discount from the local company. They did a great job and it took only 3 hours.
