  1. Console Arm Rest Cover

Still good as new! I dont think it will last forever because it doesn't seem to be made any better. But its still perfect!
  2. Console Arm Rest Cover

Install is done! Not too bad a job. 1) You have to pull the USB/120V outlet panel straight back. After squeezing the top. It has four of those white clips on the bottom. 2)Undo four 7mm hex head screws that bolt the armrest to the main center console(use a crescent wrench no room for a...
  3. Console Arm Rest Cover

My truck is a pretty basic 2019 XLT with the Ebony Cloth interior, so this arm rest is the black fake leather/vinyl. Ive never sat in a full leather Ranger to know of that part is different honestly. See picture. No fancy decorative stitching, only cheap fake leather.
  4. Console Arm Rest Cover

So I found an armrest replacement from Ford. KB3Z-2106024-AA (Black). For those who were wondering how to remove the old one here is how the part arrives from the factory so that shows how it will come off. The frame and mount is integral to the arm rest. Ill comment on my replacement when...
  5. Console Arm Rest Cover

I just noticed my center console (arm rest whatever its called) "leather" is hanging off on the front r/h corner too. Looks like crap and I'm out of warranty ('19) so well see what the replacement part costs, then dig out the headliner adhesive?
  6. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

Update: Ok so my new EGR valve fixed the bucking and rough running problem about 90%. But last week I changed my intake air filter and I swear it helped the rough running in high gears at low RPM. My truck has 30,000 km on it. The old filter wasn't that bad, but for some reason it made a big...
  7. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

Update: Install of the new part is complete. (LB5Z-9J433-B) Truck drives nice, seems way smoother. Im happy. The install for a non mechanic wasnt bad. Access to the old clamps is the hardest part, but once I got the smaller of the two off the rest was a breeze. Yes thanks to the...
  8. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

My 2019 with 29000km has this issue and my new EGR valve is here. I have a stupid question though before I put it on: These hose clamps with the yellow/white plastic loop tabs? Are you supposed to remove the plastic thing to allow the clamp to fully tension or are you supposed to just leave...
  9. Wheel offset

Do you know where to find the official offset of the Rangers wheels? Not that I don't believe you(what i have found agrees), but im having trouble confirming it anywhere!
  10. Engine "buzz" at low speeds/rpm

I just took it in yesterday. They agree that it doesn't sound right. They test drove 5 of the Rangers on their lot which all had the buzz, and concluded no fault found. "Must be characteristic of the engine'. But they admitted they were surprised to find it on all the trucks!
  11. An update on ride quality

I found 32-33 psi cold to be the best ride so far with my XLT, 3000+ miles in. I agree it drives like a truck.
  12. Engine "buzz" at low speeds/rpm

This video perfectly captures the "buzz" that hear from my truck too. I have 5200 km (3200mi) on my truck and it isn't going away. Its definitely worse when cold. Ive got an appointment at the dealer to ask questions. It is definitely coming from the top of the engine by the injectors, the...

  15. Epic FL > CA > FL Roadtrip in my FX4! 7233mi. MPG =

Hey right on, thanks for the reply! That would have been an awesome trip!
  16. Epic FL > CA > FL Roadtrip in my FX4! 7233mi. MPG =

When you did the math on your fuel receipts vs the Trip meter how did it actually do? 24.3 mpg is admittedly impressive, but i find that the onboard fuel calculations are a few mpg better then the actual fuel burn. Of all the vehicles Ive owned with an onboard fuel economy calculator, I...
  17. Autostop installed

Instruction Update out on the Autostop Eliminator Website!
  18. Autostop installed

Ok....Figured it out, I had to open the panel under the steering column, which is hinged at the bottom and exposes the fuse panel. Once this panel is out of the way the LH finish panel popped off no problem. The instructions say: "Remove the finish panel to the lower left side of the HVAC...
  19. Autostop installed

Follow up, ok so I have an XLT 300A (the 4.2" LCD screen) and I confirmed that the left facia panel is an interference fit with the panel under the steering column. I broke a clip to figure it out. Has anyone with a XL or a XLT 300A get this thing installed? I'll have to have a chat with the...
  20. Autostop installed

Ok so I'm trying to install my Autostop eliminator and I can't get the stupid facia panels off! There feels like there is an interference fit with the panel directly under the steering column and the one of the little white trim clips fell out of the facia panel. Any tips? I don't want to...
