I can tell the frame and suspension has a lot of thought put into it. It’s probably the stoutest midsize truck I’ve ever drove. hopefully the mechanics and electronics hold up as well. My main fear being the transmission, it seems very near death when it hangs up and starts jerking me around.

I looked at some brand new ones in the parking lot of a Toyota dealer not long ago. Guess what? Almost every weld on the front half of the frame had rust starting to show already.

Yep. The switch don’t work at all.

I have. The problem is when I open my door in the morning for the first time and the lights come on, they won’t cut off no matter if I press the lights themselves or the switch. I have to disconnect the battery for them to cut off. It’s a pain in the butthole driving at night.

Yeah. Mine runs on Yuengling. It was just right. If it had about 6 less gears that would be fine with me.

Naw, it is in relation to speed, it gets louder when decelerating, being loudest at about 5-20mph it started immediately when the transmission shifting issues started. Im not very smart but I believe the torque converter can cause funky shifting if the pump is starting to go bad.
