This is pretty much the set up I’m looking at. Around a 25 hp tractor, most likely a pull behind mower deck. Is your truck all stock as far as towing? I was even thinking an aluminum trailer for weight savings.

Bought my GFs dad one few years back for his Colorado. Turned out to be trash. Of course he used his for work daily. It’s a great idea, overall. An aluminum option, light steel, or even heavier plastic would be great.
