Still running on my original stock AGM battery that came with the new 2019 truck that has 32500 miles on it. I use a battery maintainer every so often when the message comes on the screen "to save battery turn on ignition".
Well. I switched USB's on probably the last warm day this year and they both worked in both slots so I'm sure that the cold is making the connections not meet until the cab gets warm, So instead of taking the dash apart, I'll just wait until the cab gets warm.
One of my USB's sometimes doesn't work in the morning when it's cold outside and the interior of the truck is cold. After driving and warming up the interior, it starts working again. Has anyone else experienced this and might know why it happens?
I like mine. The only issue I had was that one of the loop holes didn't fit the bolt that came with the case. The bolt must have the wrong threads cut in it. Had to adjust the depth of the bolt to make it work.
I have a 2019 XLT FX4. Only issues I,ve had was the message that I should start the truck to save the battery but I use a battery maintainer and it solves the issue. The other minor issue is one of the USB's with music doesn't work when it's cold but then does when the interior is warmed up. I...
29760 on my 2019 with just two oil changes, one at the dealer and one done my self. Sort of a pain changing oil with having to remove the skid plate to get to the drain plug and the left front tire to get to the oil filter.
After a long trip, I had the ASS work again for a short time, then after the truck setting for few days it stopped working. So I agree that it needs a strong battery. However, I use a battery maintainer every so often and the battery doesn't get low so who knows what is happening. It's the...
2019 Ranger bought in April 2019 and no major problems, just minor like USB not working when cold in morning and "Save battery" message sometimes. Have 27700+ miles on it and just changed oil myself without going to the dealer. Had to remove the left front tire to loosen the oil filter that was...
My 2019 Ranger bought new still has the original tires going strong at 27777 miles. Only issue I had was the first year, I had a sharp rock cut into the tread which deflated the tire and had to get it fixed. But no problems since.
I have a April 2019 going on 5 years and not have any problems with battery. I do have a battery charger, desulfurization, trickle charge, pulse repair unit I hook up when ever I get the "System off to save battery" message and not had the battery go dead.
I would like you to spell out all the abbreviations for those of us who are not auto mechanics, please. I finally figured what BMS stands for (battery maintenance system or sensor) but don't know PCM, BCM, LIN or IPC. Trying to learn! FYI, my ASS wasn't working, the USB wasn't working when it...
