Very nice! Welcome to the forums. I got my 21 Lariat Scab with 31k miles for the exact same price. Seems you got a very good deal. Did yourās come with the engine cover? Some Lariatās have āem, some donāt. I had to buy mine.
No, luckily for me, USAA is paying for the repairs. They said it would cost them $30k to total it.
I really wasnāt ready to give it back to GM and buy a replacement. My wife sold Cadillac, GMC & Buick, so we always got great lease deals, but I think this will be the last. Iām a buy & drive...
I bought my 2021 with 31k miles, so weāre pretty similar. Like most said: change coolant, fluids, filters, plugs and suspect hoses. Brake fluid too. Plugs are cheap, engine cover well worth it. My drive line fluids were all ok, except for the transfer case. Donāt know why that looked so...
This is kind of embarrassing, but I just had my first accident and side airbag deployment. The airbags were way more violent than the accident. Extremely dark night, no street lights ācause weāre in Tucson, I turned out of our cul-de-sac, and within two car lengths, BOOM!
I was only up to 12...
So one of my new CRTās was so big, it wouldnāt fit in the TV cabinet. I donāt know if this made me a videophile, or a redneck. Great for letter box format though. From 2007.
Much better now!
Actually, it was so easy, I didnāt really measure anything. The hobby plywood panel from HD was 2x4 feet and almost fit as is. I just moved the seats full forward, placed the sheet against the rear cab wall, and marked it with a compass to match the rear wall contour, and cut off a few inches...
Iāll concur. I just installed a pair of these 4600s on the rear of my 2021 Lariat 4x4. It took 20 minutes and was super easy. They eliminated the bouncing from the worn out OEM shocks. Iāll get the fronts done soon, but doubt Iāll do that myself.
Hereās a super cheap way to delete the seat, at least the butt cushions. Only requires a 2x12, a 2x2, a 2x4 āhobby panelā of plywood, and a carpet roll from Home Depot. It makes a nice flat platform, and it pulls right out when not needed.
After a test fit, I glued and screwed the 5 pieces...
Iād swap it out before it fails. Better to be proactive considering how many issues this stupid design causes when the hose fails, and how easy and inexpensive the fix is. I used a 90 degree silicone hose from HPS.
3/8 Silicone Hose
Yup, I agree, these modern products are junk. So is a lot of modern labor. No more craftsman. But the most dangerous thing is that big pharma stopped looking for cures to disease, and now they will only develop treatments. Iām so glad Iām old.
Then went to Antelope Island to bike. Bumper didn't fall off so I'd call it a success.
Are there still a ton of bison out there? I went to the island 20 years ago and there must have been a heard of 600 running along the shore.
