  1. Levels Performance Upgraded Intercooler

I'd be curious depending on price...
  2. Bushwacker Fenders, Wheel Spacers and a few other goodies installed...

Everett... do you have any pictures of the Air designs on but from further away? It still looks like a huge gap, but I think the close-up and angle aren't helping.
  3. Raptor Body Kit

Agreed. I'm hoping it's the early adoption tax.
  4. Raptor Body Kit

Just came across this. I don't know if I can sell the wife on a 3000 dollar kit, but damn I love the look of the Raptor! https://www.evilmanufacturing.com/conversionkits/ranger-to-raptor-t8-2019 Honestly, some parts seem redundant if you already have the FX4 package, so It may be a waiting...
  5. Horrible MPG's

I have been averaging 19-20 (1500 miles total now) with mixed driving. It's been hot and humid here, so that doesn't help at all. My drive to and from work varies from open highway to stop and go heavy traffic. For what it's worth, I switched from Walmart to Chevron or Shell (depending on...
  6. MagnaFlow Is Now A Sponsor Of R5G!

Would you say your knowledge is... exhaustive? (Ok... I'll see myself out, now) Seriously though, I have Magnaflow mufflers on my '67... probably the best thing I ever did to that car!
  7. Former Tacoma Owners Club

I have a '13 Tacoma and a '19 Ranger. I love the Gen2 a lot. Had an '06 that we'd still be driving if I hadn't totaled it. I looked long and hard at both used and new trucks. The Gen3 seemed like a downgrade with the powerplant onboard. I don't like the GM twins and the and the Frontier and...
  8. 1" Front End Lift?

    Thanks for the info!
  9. 1" Front End Lift?

Hey folks! I know a lot of people here are doing lifts w/ bigger tires, but I just want to give that nose a bit of extra clearance. Right now I'm swinging back and forth between a 2" front 1" rear lift (which might look ridiculous on stock 275/75r17s) or a simple 1" lift up front. I like the...
  10. KNOCKOFF Ford Ranger Raptor Grille

You can sand before primer if you like. I didn't. Definitely put on a primer coat. I use Rust-oleum for almost everything, so that was primer. I did wet sand my primer layer (600 grit). Otherwise, don't be like me and spray too much on. The bottom of my F has a big thick ugly glob of clear...
  11. KNOCKOFF Ford Ranger Raptor Grille

I got mine here. https://repaintsupply.com/r-e-color-coats-custom-matched-aerosol-spraycan-11-ounce-p3401.html Paint and clearcoat (also ordered from them) went on great. I'm a crappy painter, and it turned out well. The only blemish was because I put on WAY too much clearcoat. I used black...
  12. KNOCKOFF Ford Ranger Raptor Grille

Dang, thought I'd be the first to paint mine! Actually used Lightning Blue for it. Pleased with the result!
  13. What are your thoughts on normal wear and tear / environmental paint damage?

Any vehicle gets minor cosmetic damage. I tend to notice every little detail on my paint jobs, but I don't stress over them. Eventually, I'll have to make a choice between stay on the trail or take a branch all the way down the side of my truck. If it gouges to bare metal, I'll be ticked...
  14. 2019 Ranger MPGs

For anybody getting really low MPG numbers... Where are you filling up? I put Walmart gas in my first two tanks and calc'd out 20 and 18 city. Put Tom Thumb gas in it and got 21 calc'd on this last tank. And I did a LOT of stop and go sitting in traffic. Also, those numbers are probably...
  15. Ranger (Raptor) in Forza Horizon 4 (pics)

When I came back stateside and saw this in-game I was stoked! I have been playing almost exclusively in the Ranger Raptor for the last two weeks... I like that (with upgrades) it's one of the fastest 4x4s you can have. I'm at work now, but will post a pic when I get home. If you see...
  16. AFTERMARKET GRILLE

Yikes! The wife would've killed me!
  17. AFTERMARKET GRILLE

Looks pretty nice. Almost wish I didn't order the Raptor style grille. Almost.
  18. Bed doesn't feel very "tough" to me

I've hauled hardwood furniture and a bunch of 1/2" plywood (10 pieces, loaded over the passenger side wheel well and pressing against driver side) and have had paint scratches, but the metal feels just as reliable as any other truck I've owned or used.
