If I did have a smart phone, and if I put SiriusXM on the smart phone, and if I connected the smart phone to the Ranger via BlueTooth, or Smart Connect , or whatever, would I then be able to control the SiriusXM app from the steering wheel buttons?

I don't have a smart phone. So, those kinds of solutions won't work for me. The ideal solution would allow me to control the SiriusXM stations from the buttons on the steering wheel. I looked over the option packages thouroughly on the Ford website. What option includes the satellite radio?

Thanks, but iHeart and Pandora are not an option. I want SiriusXM. One option would be remove the current radio and install a satellite radio. What would the other options be? An external SiriusXM receiver maybe? Has anyone done that before?

My window sticker does claim XL, and then later "XL SERIES" under the equipment group. That means I have an XL, I think.
