Apparently you didn't notice the rust is only surface rust and the oil based paint is just cosmetic. I can't see spending a lot of money on various brands of Black Lug Nuts hoping to find a set that was actually plated correctly with industrial hard chrome.
I have done some research on the Black Chrome Lug Nuts. And it seems like the chrome plated versions are hard chromed and the Black plated versions are not. Thus, if you use an impact wrench, the chatter burns thru the soft Black chrome plate and the lug nuts rust. I have always used an impact...
Or just disconnect the BMS and have the voltage regulator control the battery charging voltage. It will settle in and stay within 0.3V at all times. Voltage regulators have been controlling battery charging for over 100 yrs. They just work.

Checked Ford Ranger Accessories. They only had locking black lug nuts. With OEM steel wheels, locking lug nuts are not necessary. I mean who would steal OEM steel wheels??
"Putting a LED Light in a Halogen Housings will do nothing but cause Glare regardless of Color Temperature."
Not if the LED replacement bulb is designed to emit light exactly like a Halogen. Example is the GTR Ultra 2's. No glare, never been flashed at.
I purchased a set of Black Chrome factory style lug nuts for my XL steel wheels. They had to have the bulge ring to retain the plastic factory hub cap. But after just one tire rotation and one winter they are covered in rust. These were the Lug Nuts I purchased: Amazon.com: Wheel Accessories...
Who cares what the BMS does. It has been proven to shorten the life of the batteries. Just disconnect it and control the charge the way it has been done for over 100 yrs. It just works! I disconnected mine 9 months ago, but the damage was already done after 1.5 yrs of chronic undercharging...
