  1. Check your transmission fluid

This would be really great…unfortunately at least for me, checking it cold has not given consistent readings. Sometimes it reads higher or lower on the dipstick cold depending probably on how much the torque converter wants to give up after each run. This is just what I have experienced. Maybe...
  2. ...After The Level!!

About 2 weeks ago I traded my 2019 Ranger XLT for a 2021 Tremor. I loved the XLT but have been wanting 4 wheel drive for a while and really could not be happier! It had Grabbers and I knew from the first test drive that I would be buying tires because they rode terribly down the road, it really...
  3. Check your transmission fluid

After getting it up to temp it was reading 5 on the stick. I added enough ULV to bring it between 4&5. I’m no engineer but this would make more sense if the numbers were reversed on the stick. Just my 2. Appreciate all the input from all on this forum to help sort these things! ?
  4. Check your transmission fluid

Thanks Cmar! It’s not hard here in Phoenix to get things warmed up this time of year so I’m doing it early this morning while it’s still a brisk 97 degrees. ?
  5. Check your transmission fluid

I finally managed crack loose the dipstick cap. getting ready to drive around and get things up to the correct temp. Are you guys driving around without the cap, just leaving the dipstick in? Or are you removing the cap afterwards while idling? Trying to find best practice for this to avoid...

  9. 2WD fitment

After combing the multiple Tire/Wheel threads, I have found a lot of useful information, but the vast majority seems to be posted by 4WD owners. Unless I missed a post somewhere I can not find a definitive answer regarding fitment specific to 2WD Rangers. I want to have larger tires installed...
  10. California Help me out here 275 ?? Or 265

Your truck looks perfect! Nice work man! Did you have to use spacers to keep the tires from hitting the knuckle? I’m thinking of going the same route. with the stock 255 Hankooks there’s only a pinky fingers width space. I’m wanting to go with the 265/70/17 same BFG tire as you went with.
