You can hear the leak at idle under the car sort of sounds like an aftermarket exhaust. Accelerating hard it makes a loud “woosh” like a vacuum-type sound and seems to be down in power maybe due to loss of back pressure.
Put a perfect puncture in my muffler today ironically colliding into someone else’s POS exhaust lying around on the highway. The sun was in my eyes and I just didn’t see it. Luckily no other damage so I suppose lucky too.
Finally an excuse as ever to get the turn down pipe I have been kicking...
Finally ordered the both S&B and AFE parts today. I commute nearly 100miles highway daily so I'm intererested to see if how much it helps improve my mileage.
Oil change, tire rotation and an inspection performed at the dealer today. The usual full synthetic and after offering me a BG oil additive at a discount, I had them put it in.
Anyone have any experience with BG products?

I always thoroughly wash and hose out inside there everytime I'm cleaning my truck and I've never had a problem. Like they said at least your door is okay and not damaged.
Ha. I was thinking of that. Only reason I don't keep that on is I didn't want to look like one of those posers with shackles dangling front and back, however they're usually also running a ridiculous lift and 20" wheels lol. Defintely not my truck anyhow and so I will throw it back on.
How about "what someone else did to your ranger today"
I got a little bump on the way home from work Friday afternoon. Highway commuting everyday I always have this scare in the back of my mind, I guess it was my turn now, luckily traffic was moving very slowly and it could have been worse. The...
